Meet the band!

Tom Goff – Bassist and Vocalist

Tom has been the heartbeat of the Pine Mountain Bluegrass Band for the past 10 years. As a founding member of the original Utah-based band, now thriving in New Hampshire, Tom’s bass playing provides the solid foundation for the band’s vocal harmonies and rhythmic drive. His beautifully carved upright bass is the backbone of the band’s sound. Vocally, Tom’s tenor harmonies weave seamlessly into the tapestry of the music, adding depth and richness to the band’s signature bluegrass style.

Ron Swisher – Guitarist, Banjoist, and Vocalist

Ron has been a dedicated bluegrass musician for 53 years, specializing in guitar and banjo. Since 1990, he has been an integral part of the New England bluegrass scene, performing with numerous bands across Connecticut and New Hampshire. Ron’s banjo playing is inspired by legends such as Ralph Stanley, Earl Scruggs, and J.D. Crowe. His high tenor vocals contribute to the distinctive harmony blend that defines the high lonesome sound unique to bluegrass music.

Jerry Wile – Guitarist, Banjoist, and Vocalist

Jerry is a true bluegrass musician with over 40 years of experience in the New England area. He is proficient in both guitar and banjo and has played with numerous bluegrass bands. Jerry is also a talented vocalist, singing both lead and harmony parts.

In addition to his performance career, Jerry has been teaching banjo and guitar for more than 25 years and currently teaches at Kelly’s Music in Littleton, MA. He is also a singer-songwriter, having recorded a CD of mostly original songs that reflect his life experiences and his deep connection to bluegrass music in New England.
